Has developed a strong and well-rounded perspective in finance, accounting, compliance, taxation and business operations developed through extensive exposure and experience of having worked in reputed organizations including Zuari Cement Ltd, RPG Cables Ltd, S Kumar’s Nationwide Ltd – apparel division (spun off into Reid & Taylor India Ltd), and Ace Turtle Services Pvt Ltd for over 16 years.

Over the years in corporate service, handled multiple levels of responsibility in senior positions like Finance Controller and CFO, gaining deep insight into corporate finance, governance, strategic planning and decision-making.

Has got good exposure to various niche areas like spin off / demerger, acquisitions, fund raising, valuation, due diligence, drafting term sheets, shareholders agreements and negotiations with investors on funding related matters.

At the operational level, experienced in preparing business plans, project feasibility studies for management and investors, project reports for Banks, CMA data, negotiations with the banks for project finance and working capital loans in addition to the routine areas of accounting, finalisation of the Balance sheet, managing various audits, taxation and compliance matters. Also has got wide exposure in handling departmental inquiries and Audits from erstwhile Central excise, VAT and now GST and scrutiny from Income tax, responding to Show cause notices, filing appeals and representations with the departments.   

Transitioned into independent practice in 2016, establishing a professional practice focused on delivering practical, solution-oriented advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients. Engaged in consulting and advisory CFO roles for various companies handling issues like advising clients on matters of financial planning, setting up and expansion of their businesses, fund raising and negotiations in terms of valuations, term sheets and shareholders agreements and supporting clients in managing investor relationships, investments in different businesses and projects.

In addition to the above supporting clients on routine areas of finalisation of their Balance sheets, tax planning, transaction advisory, handling GST audits, tax litigations, drafting and validating various agreements like manufacturing and supply agreements, and master service agreements and supporting clients in commercial litigations and arbitration.
